Published 2003, signed by the author to the title page,  this is a detailed history of the loss of te Tayleur off lambay , County Dublin in January 1854, a White Star Line ship, carrying passengers aimed for the gold rush fields of Australia. 

Of te 650 aboard one of teh largest ships of its era, only 290 survived.
