Condition - Internally - Pages are lightly tanned with some foxing throughout. Top text block edge dyed black. Binding remains firm. Some water drops to fore edge of text block, text is not affected. Thumb-marking present throughout. No marks or inscriptions,
Condition - Externally - Binding is tight, Boards have visible edge wear with slight corner bumping. Uneven sunning marks to teh green cloth at the edges, and sunfade to the upper ends of the cloth on the back cover. This is not the later mass market ' Cheap edition' hardback ( which was issued in black cloth)
