In addition to Dublin & Cork there is content and illustration for Louth, Limerick, Waterford, Tralee and Wexford, and a number of smaller towns in Cork and Tipperary Original green cloth covers with gilt title & decorastion on front cover. Corners and spine ends heavily bumped & rubbed. The front cover is in soiled green cloth, with titles in gilt and a shamrock design, as well as teh city arms of Dublin in gilt. Superbly illustrated, with some original photographs in the commercial directory sections. A number of features in particular on distilling, warehouseing/merchants and brewing. Fair+ overall Size: 4to.
A number of smallclosed tears to the edges of pages internally, esp so to the Dublin sections, , one page ( page 149, is loosened. Small crack to the lower front edge of the binding. Splashes of what looks like paint to the back cover - in a spill pattern however, the interior is untouched.
