Product Description
John O’Mahony is one of the greatest managers in Gaelic football history. He is also the man who brought more hope to the people of Connacht than anybody else in modern times.
Keeping The Faith tells the story of defiance and determination, but most especially is allows us to fully understand a GAA man with a brilliant mind.
O’Mahony guided Leitrim, in 1994, to their only Connacht title in the county’s history, and twice, in 1998 and 2001, brought Galway the whole way – winning two All-Ireland football titles. O’Mahony also twice managed his native Mayo as they desperately sought to get their hands on Sam Maguire for the first time since 1951.
Subsequently a TD, John O’Mahony is also a respected commentator and analyst on Gaelic football. Keeping The Faith was his first book.
