An illustrated guide and history of Holy Cross abbey, located south of Thurles on the river Suir.
46 pages, with map inside back cover , period black and white photographs and b&w illustrations. The Abbey was restored ( and roofed) in the early 1970's, - the original buiding being a Cistercian Abbey dating from the 12th century.
Interesting as being a record of how the abbey appeared before it's resoration.
Condition - Light edgewear to the spine, printed by Three Candles Press, Dublin. In excellent condition.
Undated, assumed first printing - 1929.
