Poblished by Brophy Books, 988, this takes a number of the articles and essays that Brian D'arcy wrote for the Irish Sunday World from 1978 to 1988 , - very popular in their time, the articles were perhaps unusual in a newspaper otherwise best known for page 3 photos , pub spy and classic tabloid fodder.

D'arcy often used the format of a reader's letter to discuss social issues - teen pregnancy etc as the basis of an article, which are rarely sermons, but more meditations. Obviously, these are large c Catholic , but D'Arcy was less of a fire and brimstone type religious figure than many of his era.
