An influential exponent of contemporary Irish sculpture during the late 20th century, Conor Fallon was strongly influenced by the artist Tony O'Malley and the St Ives group of artists in Cornwell where he lived for some time. His most recognizable works were large steel sculptures of birds, hares, horses and fish.This book encapsulates his whole credo and outlook as an artist, along with personal reminiscences and analyses of the creative figures he especially admired.
Conor Fallon died in 2007, this book was compiled by his family after his death, and is illustrated throughout with photography by Gillian Buckley, foreword by Brian Fallon, afterword by Stephen McKenna.
