The dustjacket is very worn, ( a common issue with this title) - heavy edgewear to head and tail of spine, long closed tear to front cover, showing ghostmarks from period tape repair, simialr edgewear to back cover, closed tears to base of jacket.
I doubt if a more detailed study of early sources ( and the focus here is very much on the earlier history of the sport, in medieval and early modern Ireland) for hurling history within Ireland was published before or since.
