Includes business leaders, trade union organisers, academics, and architects - in the form of Kevin Roche. As US Irish politicians were perhaps better known ( and would have filled several books on their own) they are not included. At the time of writing, the author asserted that 35% of corporate America was led by the Irish, either Irish born or of Irish extraction.
