Originally published in 1976, the paperback edition followed in 1978 ( this edition) . 160 pages. Mac Thomáis was hugely knowledgeable on Dublin's social history and street life, and manages to vividly convey his own experiences growing up in the city.
Multiple covers were used for this publication in the various editions it went through, this is green with an image of a horse and cart to front by Liam Delaney.
