Fógra Fáilte was set up in 1952 , and was renamned relativley quickly as the modern Bord Fáilte in 1955. A number of county and regional travel guides were produced in these years, this is a typical issue, with central section of black and white photographs, and a detailed breakdown of all towns and areas in the county, as well as a section of period business advertisements.
Originally, there was a small county fold out map included inside the back cover- this is not present.
