Murder/Thriller set in Dublin. It revolves around 3 men who meet up in Mountjoy prison. Hutch, Psycho and Blackie are cell mates in the New Corrective Training Unit, all with just a few months left of their sentences.
Blackie has been sentenced to 10 years for armed robbery. When Detective Inspector Lynch began his investigation, Blackie's alibi did not stand up and he was tricked into making a confession. To make matters worse, Lynch kept half of the stolen money for himself and stitched Blackie up in court.
Now Blackie wants revenge.
Hutch was pulled in for a hit-and-run that he had no recollection of. The first he knew was being woken by the police in his car with a terrible hangover. Later he discovered that his friend Joeboy had been responsible but due to various circumstances, Hutch ends up in prison for the crime.
He wants revenge on Judge Broderick who sentenced him t 5 years which caused him to lose his job, girlfriend and ruined his life.
Psycho got 8 years for attempted murder. He found out that his wife was having an affair with the local publican. He shot Gallagher in the shoulder but aimed for his heart. He swears that on his release, he is going to finish off the "wife stealing bastard"
The story all begins when the 3 men are released from prison and set about getting their revenge.
