1983, hardcover reprint edition, Irish Academic Press, Ireland. (this work was first published in 1904. In 1905 a popular edition appeared containing an epilogue). This new edition contains both the book and the epilogue mentioned. Hardcover, 340 pages, very handsomely printed. Includes a fresh foreword, a preface to the popular edition, as well as a preface to the first edition. Horace Plunkett was a commentator on Irish affairs from 1890 to 1920. In 1904 he published his master work, outlining his blueprint to Ireland's future. His main point was that the people of Ireland needed to strengthen their moral fibre and get on with their lives.
