‘The Postman And Doggie Woggie’ was inspired by the story of a well-known postman from Tralee, Connie Foley from O’Rahillys Villas, who came to adopt a stray dog which became his best friend.
While ostensibly a children’s book, the story will appeal to anyone who has loved (and lost) a pet, while older readers who remember Connie will find solace and nostalgia in the illustrations of old Tralee and the characters within.
Not only can you read the story but the author encourages people to listen to the story on the audio CD, which is included with the book.
The book is beautifully illustrated by Sergio Drumond.
