Product Description
Despite having a conscience against killing, Tomás was forced to join the Contra rebels in Nicaragua and was swept into a maelstrom of fear and battle, hunger and loneliness, and grief for fallen comrades. When it was over, Tomás drifted far from God, failing to keep promises he had made during moments of wartime terror. He became enslaved to drink, which nearly destroyed his home and wrecked his life. Then visitors arrived in Waslala, bringing the Gospel of peace. Little by little, their words and prayers began to affect Tomás’s cold heart. At the foot of the cross, he found forgiveness and true peace. This is his story.
