A paperback first edition, 1984 of an uncommon book on the early years of the GAA, circa 1910-1925. The author, a native of Loughrea, was the grandson of the Secretary of the GAA from 1901-1929, Luke J O'Toole, and used a number of family sources and papers in compiling his account of a turbulent period in Irish and GAA history. Published in the centenary year 1984, by the author. No ISBN. No hardcover was issued.
Condition - There is tanning to the page block, as well as wear to the covers , esp at the back. The back few pages have dog eared slightly ( see photograph)
Illustrated throughout with b& w photographs. For a self published title the production design is excellent.
