It conjures up a picture of a pre-Celtic Tiger Ireland, reminding us that that was not really very long ago. This can act as a companion publication to Paul Clement's recent travel book, 'Wandering Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way', as it covers virtually the same route but a quarter of a century later - so making a wonderful snap-shot of Ireland before and after the boom years.
In the summer of 1991 Paul Clements hitchhiked solo around Ireland, avoiding cities in the main, this is a 2016 reprint, with a new introduction by the author.
