Condition - the relatively plain external dustjacket ( which is unfortunate given how bright colourful and detailed the internal artwork is ) is edgeworn and shows closed tears.
Internally, the upper edge of the page block shows some colour bleed ( from another book or object) on the upper edges of the first 6-7 pages. Otherwise unmarked, binding tight.
This is a second edition, the first edition was 1883. The design points to a publication date probably around 1900-1910.
