Great My Shame is primarily a history of Irish nationalism and ' state nationalism' as pertaining to the Northern Ireland issue. The Anti Constitutional Crusade is concerned with the ( now amended) articles 2 & 3 of Bunreacht, of which, unsurprisingly he was a huge advocate for.
Kevin Boland, born 1917 from a prominent political dynasty was first elected a FF TD in 1957. He served as Minister for Defence. Minister for Social Welfare and Minister for Local Government before resignin from the government in May 1970 after the Arms Crisis and eventually from the Fianna Fail party. He subsequently founded Aontacht, a republican party of which he was the main figure, but from which he failed to gain election.
He died in 2001
