Condition - Being ex library , it has the usual flaws - yellowing tape residue to the front and rear flaps, and corresponding marks to the pastedowns, as well as a small glue residue mark on the ffep, and several small unobtrusive library ownership stamps marks internally, The jacket is present, not faded and undamaged, book is clean, binding solid, and presents well. Small format handbook hardcover, in green and yellow covers, photographs internally are in black and white. Hamilton Ellis was the author of a number of publication son train and locomotive history from the 1930's to the 1960's.
