Age tanning to the page block, but internally unmarked, no underlining or marks. Externally there is moderate to heavy creasing to the outside covers. Section of b&w photographs to central pages.
Previous owners name neatly to the title page in blue ink.
542 pages, Fontana UK. First published in 1968, when the author was able to interview many active participants of the Civil War, and whose testimonies and stories he used to broaden out his narrative.
