There is even an informative section on Kuatsu, or resuscitation techniques included. Something not offered in many modern volumes.
If you view ju jutsu as a system secondary to the other attributes of the bugei and read a little of the history behind it I think that you will find Nakae to be offering much. On an introductory level and as a study of simple defensive methods you will find this work very useful.
Hardcover, lacks the original dustjacket, but internally very good, the fold out pages are complet and undamaged
