A collection of all the published poems of the Monaghan poet, Patrick Kavanagh, published by Goldsmith Press Kildare. Goldsmith Press worked with Patrick's brother , Peter Kavanagh, to keep the poet's work in print (something which was not too successfully done, given how well known and loved he is as a modern Irish poet. ) Legal wrangles also meant that Kavanagh's Collected Poems was out of print for a long period.
This is a reprint edition collection, originally published in 1972. Although it is age tanned ( heavily in places) , it is internally clean, no underlining, no other flaws, marks or damage noted.
Index of first lines, introduction, notes on the poems , explanation of names and references, 416 pages.
Peter Kavanagh also provides notes, edited and wrote an introduction for this edition.
