160 pages, illustrated throughout, a practical and domestic centered cookbook, with baking at its core, as well as family meals. Also includes a selection of vegetarian recipes as well as a section of chinese and Indian recipes ( sign of things to come in the broadening of Irish food tastes )
Also includes a detailed recipe for Christmas pudding.
Despite the popularity and large print runs of this series, they can be hard books to find in good condition, as no hardbacks were issued.
Condition - one of the better copies of this book we've seen - only minimal creasing, no notes, good copy. The only notable flaw is an oil stain to the last 4-5 pages in teh lower corner
