The civil parish of Ballynakill is located i northwest Conamara, County Galway, and holds a wealth of historic and Natural history sites of interest as well as encompassing most of what is now the Connemara national Park based in Letterfrack.
This is a very well written local history , covering the parish from earliest times, with a number of features in particular concentrating on the 19th century, the famine period and the development of the wider area. Also contains a wealth of genealogical information, with school lists from the 19th century and much more.

Light creasing to the covers, this can be a hard to find publication.
