Magee was a teacher who published 4 collections of poetry for adults, and 80 books for young readers. The Very Best of Wes Magee was the Choice Award for the Children’s Poetry Bookshelf. A regular visitor to schools and colleges, his work also featured on TV and radio. Wes died in 2021.
