    Product Description

    Published by Irish Academic Press, 1983. The book is a reprint of the 1920 originalk by E.T Craig, as well as adding the essays by James Connolly ( 1910)  and Cormac ó Gráda ( 1974)

    Ralahine, just north of modern day Limerick city in southeast Clare, was the location for a remarkable experiment in communal living, based on Robert Owen's ideas, lasting two years in a purpose built 'village' on the Vandeleur estate.
