This was long before planning tribunals, and the book itself was controversial in it's day, but was instrumental in helping to bring about policy changes and in the longer term, helping stem the tide of dereliction.
Frank McDonald was for many years the Environment Correspondent for the Irish Times, dealing with issues of planning and development ,as well as architecture.
Condition - Good overall- MODERATE creasing to the front cover, dogeared on back corners, spin lean and heavy edgewear - it has the appearance of a well thumbed book. Creasing to spine.
However, that said, an important work, long out of print.
