Hardcover, published 1928 by Carswell & Sons, Queen Street Belfast. illustrated throughout, a history and archaeology of the province ( or perhaps more accurately what was then the newly formed Northern Irish state )
In dark blue cloth with titles in gilt to front and ( slightly faded) to spine. It has the look ( design wise) of a late 19th century title, but is the first printing, 1928.
Previous owner's name ( W Johnston) on blank front end page, bookseller's stamp, and a ' withdrawn from University of London stamp and bookplate on inside front pastedown. ( No other library marks noted)
