When Flip and Flop, the border terriers, are left with Frank Johnson's parents after Frank moves to England, they go to the groomers, have their own dog-door installed, explore the neighborhood at night with Catriona the cat, and come to the rescue when Mrs. Johnson is hurt in a fall.
