Product Description
Master printmaker Kenneth Tyler's name doesn't appear in the bibliographic information for this book, but it is his work that is showcased; more specifically, it is his work with artists Josef Albers, Robert Rauschenberg, Jasper Johns, Roy Lichtenstein, David Hockney, Robert Motherwell, Helen Frankenthaler, and Frank Stella. Tyler's collaboration with these artists is documented in text, photos of artists at work, and representative artworks. The extraordinary collection featured here is housed at the National Gallery of Australia (where author Jane Kinsman is a curator) and comprises works created at Tyler's workshops in Los Angeles and New York, beginning in the 1960s. Distribution in the US is by the U. of Washington Press
