The Bad and Ugly
In depth expose and profile of Ireland's major criminal figures of the four decades from the seventies through the noughties - their ascendancy, misdeeds and ultimate downfall. Most of the characters featured will already be well known such as Martin Cahill, John Gilligan, George Mitchell, Martin Foley, various IRA members and the Limerick mobs. Williams' prose is tabloidesque in style and there are quite a few typographical errors but if you have an interest in true crime in Ireland, than this book will hold your attention from beginning to end and could be completed in one sitting.
