During the Lisbon I and Lisbon II referendums, she observed the "clear void," in communication between Ireland and Europe and that is why she penned, 'The Reason Why,' to fill the void.
During Lisbon II, Regina was working as an advisor to Pat Cox during the Ireland for Europe campaign.
Mr Pat Cox said that Regina's insights reveal the rich democratic texture to the decision-making process in Europe which, he said, is a "far cry from the caricature of a Europe dominated by so-called "faceless bureaucrats" or unelected officials".
