A hardcover first and sole edition ( published 1985) of the history of teh historic Toomevara GAA club, in the heart of North Tipperary. One of a number of such club histories published in 1984-85 for the centenary GAA celebrations. The Toomevara Greyhounds became renowned in teh early half of the 20th century.
An uncommon publication, a 'second' club history book was published bringing the story up to date in the 21st century.
A large format hardcover, 197 pages, illustrated throughout with team and player photographs.
Condition - internally very good, the blank back cover ( which is white) shows age spotting, and the somewhat delicate paper dustjacket shows edgewear.
