Harry Batsford was the author of several books on life in Britain, including How to See the Country, The English Cottage and The Face of Scotland (all co-authored with Charles Fry), and was the chairman of the publisher B. T. Batsford from 1917 to 1952.
This copy shows moderate to heavy rubbing to the ( very colourful) 1930's dustjacket, especially to the upper spine. Dust darkening to the age block,the dustjacket is now in a clear plastic removable jacket protector.
