Edited by his brother Joseph Donnelly, this book is both a memoir/ biography and collection of Charlie Donnelly's writing and poetry. Charles Patrick Donnelly was born in Tyrone in 1914, and died in 1937 while fighting in the Spanish Civil War. Although some of his work ahd been previously published, this edition was the sole collected poems to appear.
Published by Dedalus Press, Dublin 1987. Hardcover, published simultaneously with the paperback. The dustjacket is moderately edgeworn, with closed tears at the edges and folds, scuffing and dustdarkening. There is also a period gift inscription on the title page ( quoting from one of the poems)
