Product Description
A first edition paperback, 1966, of Leon Ó Broin's groundbreaking and informative study of British policy and action as seen from Dublin Castle ( the seat of British power in Ireland) in the events of Easter 1916 and after. Issued for the 50th anniversary in 1966, it broke new ground in examining and unearthing the rich vein of source material from British Parliamentary papers, state papers, and other sources. Much of the information is gleaned from the papers of Matthew Nathan , the effective head of the administration in Ireland.
Light creasing to spine, but more of a printing flaw i would estimate, some light foxing to the page block, usual age tanning throughout, binding tight, previous owner's namde on front inside page.
