A Good clean tight copy with original burgundy hardcovers with gilt lettering - lacks presumed otriginal dustjacket). Slight rubbing to edges of hardcovers with fading (mainly to spine). Moderate to heavy tanning on preliminary pages. There is a water ofr liquid stain. splash mark to the front cover, just under thew motif of a crossed shovel and pick .
Erased name in ink on front title page.
