Product Description
The Repeal the Eighth movement in Ireland caused a lot of political upheaval in the years preceding the referendum. Many viewed the campaigns and rallies as a positive move forward for women, and many on the opposing side called into question the moral compass of abortion. This was a very divisive and aggressive movement, but falling between the Yes’s and the No’s, were the girls who were having a decision they wanted to forget, debated publicly everyday. For the most part, both sides didn’t consider how difficult it was for the girls who couldn’t say Yes or No to a deed they themselves committed. This story chronicles the life of one of these girls, 18-year old Ellie over the course of her college years.
