A partial uniform set ( 22 volumes of the 36 issued ) ( although each volume is a stadalone) 0f the 1936 Dent UK 'New Tempest Shakespeare' , all in small uniformly sized red cloth covered hardcovers, titles in gilt to spine, and uniform global jester image to front cover.
Alas, a previous gobdaw of an owner, has clipped out ( from each volume) - a previous owner's name from the blank front endpage.
Frontis to each volume has an original wiidcut style artwork by Eric Gill ( repeated on some volumes) Gilt finish to page block ends. Light edgewear to some volumes, otherwise unmarked ( aprt from the cut out portion to each endpage)
