Undated, but mid 20th century (?) , black leatherette finish, titles in gilt to spine, rounded corners, red tint to page block ends, black bookmark, text used is that of the King James Version, (KJV - originally 1611) . Intended possibly as a gift bible and may have come originally in a plain box (possibly explaining why it looks brand new despite age).
India paper is a very thin (but strong) paper allowing large texts to be printed in more compact size, I've only seen it widely used on bibles and Tolkien.
Attractive edition. Coloured maps to endpages.
