Harrison Gardner is an eco-builder, author and broadcaster with over 15 years’ experience designing and constructing homes – conventional, sustainable and alternative – around the world. He co- founded Common Knowledge, a social enterprise in the west of Ireland that teaches practical skills
for sustainable living, from building and DIY to growing food and mending clothes. Harrison is the author of Build Your Own and Our Homes, and presents the hugely popular RTÉ show Build Your Own Home, guiding everyday people through the challenge of creating homes on real-world budgets. His work is driven by one mission: helping people feel capable and confident in shaping the future they want.
