Undated, but 1950's and published by the Educational Company of Ireland, this is a primary level schoolbook ( probably around 4th class level) of a short concise history of Ireland for schools . Despite being a school copy, this is in very good condition, with no markings, writing, underlining or scribbles, in slightly bent paper covers, striking cover art by Karl Uhlemann, both to the cover and internally. This was Part 2 , which covered Irish history from 1691 Treaty of Limerick to our own day the final dates mentioned in the text are 1949, but some references to develop;ment etc may mean it is more late 1950's
144 pages, with line illustrations interspersed, questions at the end of each chapter, and maps.
