    Hardcover in red cloth with black blue and gold / gilt finish  to front cover dsand wityh titles in faded gilt to spine. 

    Based on eth true story of the murder of the Colleen Bawn on the Shannon, this story saw many incarnations, both in a novella and this musical operetta version, with words by Dion Boucicault. 

    Undated , but late 19th century, yellow cream endpages, binding tight, part of the Booset & Co Royal Editions, full musical notation and lyrics. 

    Ink staining to back covers.
