Lacks original dustjacket, in green cloth with ( vaguely Arabic ) sword / scimitar in gilt on front cloth, titles in gilt to front cover and in matching ( embossed but partially faded gilt to spine. Corners bumped, previous owners name and address ( in pencil to blank endpages ( Farquhar (?), 157 Victoria Street, November 1920)
Lowercase b on contents page, as called for.
Frontis and internal illustrations by S.H Sime . All the illustration plates are present, but three are loose/, 1 plate has a 5 cm tear , others undamaged . Binding otherwise tight, bumps in particular to base of spine, which is softened as a result.
A fair to good copy of a RARE/ hard to find title ( no cother copies of this edition online at time of listing.
