When the writer (known as Pipelo in Australia) returned to Ireland from his adventures in southern Australia he joined the British army. He was subsequently shipped out to Mesopotamia where he was reportedly thought to have been killed in action around the 7th July 1917.
The manuscript based on his own account of his life, reproduced here in his memory, is an account of his time in Australia and is written entirely and uniquely in poetic format.
This book is second hand, and while you may not get the same publication/version/reprint/edition shown in the picture it will be the same author and title.
