The second section looks at Mrs. Florence Vere and her contribution to Limerick and its lace-workers. The final section deals with the techniques used to make Limerick Lace including the materials, designs, preparation and sewing as well as the filling and embroidery stitches.
This book contains beautiful illustrations of fine pieces of Limerick lacework from the author's collections, as well as pictures of prizewinning examples from photos in the possession of the Royal Dublin Society.
