Thirty-seven personal reminiscences on the war of independence from those who took part including Piaras Béaslaí, Tom Barry, Oscar Traynor, Florence O’Donoghue, etc. with several drawings throughout the text.
The paper used was not particularly high quality, meaning it has tanned heavily. Heavy age spotting and foxing to the (blank) inside of the front and rear covers.
The spine is not creased , there is an ( external) bookshop stamp on the back cover ( from Fred Hannas of Nassau Street) , but no other marks. A previous owner covered the book in ( fully removable) transparent paper, which has protected the covers over the last 75 years.
