Product Description
Ireland is one of the most prosperous economies in Europe and is held up
internationally as a success story. But for those living there, it doesn’t feel that way.
Three in five young people are planning to emigrate. Workers commute for hours every day. Housing is in such crisis that more than 17,000 people are homeless while unfinished mega projects spiral in cost. There’s a sense that no one is in control and that people are not getting what they deserve.
In Resetting the Republic, Conor Brady delivers a compelling analysis of how we got here and argues that there is a need for radical reform of the State’s political and administrative structures for Ireland to become the country it should be.
