Author biography
Gabriel Rosenstock, who died in 2026, was an award-winning poet, playwright, novelist and one of Ireland’s most prolific Irish-language writers. He wrote, translated and edited over 180 books, spanning poetry, children’s literature, haiku, essays and translations and was a long-standing member of Aosdána.
Brian Fitzgerald is an internationally recognised award-winning Irish illustrator known for his vibrant, character-rich children’s picture books. A graduate of the National College of Art and Design, he has illustrated for many leading publishers.
